Born and raised in the Atlanta area, Cathy often visited the mountains of North Georgia with her parents and grandparents. The mountains of the Big Canoe Community became a special place for her family in the 80's as they began retreating as often as possible to the Rumble family log cabin. Her kids grew up playing at the Big Canoe Community beach, swimming in the pool, and sliding down the rock slide. So many wonderful memories! In 2004, her family was blessed with the opportunity to move to the Jasper area and settle in the Bent Tree community.
